Our SCHLEPP ONE and SCHLEPP ONE-S Camera Carts are in use in 18+ countries. The original SCHLEPP ONE Camera Cart was funded on Kickstarter in less than one hour. 

Gen 6 Prototypes / Pre-Production units of SCHLEPP ONE and SCHLEPP ONE-S Camera Carts

Due to the extensive development of SCHLEPP ONE and SCHLEPP ONE-S Camera Carts and Workstations, we have become leading specialists in designing and making ultra-lightweight, robust and highly portable camera carts and workstations. 

We continuously develop and produce accessories and are currently working on a slightly larger SCHLEPP Camera Cart.

SCHLEPP Camera Carts is a division of rent one photo support GmbH, Berlin, Germany.

Manufacturing Options:

We use the following materials:

We use or have access to the following manufacturing techniques:

• CAD Design and 3D renderings of concepts
• Sheet Metal Bending
• industrial grade 3D-Printing (Nylon or ABS, reinforced materials) incl. vapor polishing
• injection molding (cost-effective for larger quantities), all plastics suitable for molding
• CNC-Machining (incl. lathe-turned components)
• tube processing, including end forming, expanding, and reducing of tubes
• direct contacts with leading caster manufacturers and industrial plain bearing manufacturers, excellent customization options
• access to timely coating services (KTL / electrophoretic and powder coatings) and hard anodizing of aluminum
• All available EU standard parts
• Manufacturing, assembly, and packaging facilities in Germany

We use the follwing standard components: 

• 3mm Aluminium Alloy Shelves
• 28mm Stainless steel Tubes, Collapsible or Non-Collapsible, height adjustable or fixed height
• other tube diameters or shelf thicknesses available on request
• tube flanges for ø28mm diameters
  

Maximum Cart Size (Shelves):

• 800 x 500 mm
• Payload (depending on design and size): 45 - 150 KG

Please note that our SCHLEPP ONE-S is a fully collapsible, height adjustable Mini-Cart - weighing 11 KG (24 lbs.) only (incl. Casters and without Middle Shelf).

Its payload is 45 KG / 100 lbs. It’s by far the lightest camera cart in the world with a solid top shelf - followed by SCHLEPP ONE (12.8 KG weight, 55 KG payload).

Schlepp One-S (Baby Schlepp) production unit with Middle Shelf and other equipment and accessories. Net cart weight: 11 KG. 

CASTERS (detachable or non-detachable)

125 mm x30 mm ultra-lightweight PU Casters with brakes, directional locks or fixed direction housings. 

Optional Caster / Wheel Configurations: 

• 150 x 30mm Casters (removable, black housings, grey PU wheels)
• 150 x 50mm Casters (removable or permanently attached to the cart, black PU wheels) 
  
• 180 x 45 mm Casters with industrial housings (silver / permanently attached to the cart, ca. 2.5 KG per Caster)
• 200 x 45mm Casters with PU-Wheels, brakes (removable via adaptor plate or permanently attached to the cart, ca. 1.2-1.4 KG per Caster)

1.3 KG Swivel Casters with brakes. 200x45mm wheels. Among the lightest on the planet. 

Functional Parts:

Some individual parts may be printed (PA 12 Glass filled, vapor-polished) or individually CNC machined from 6082 Aluminium Alloy.

3D printed Parts come with a full set of replacement parts each for easy replacement.

Metal Coatings:

Aluminium Alloy Shelves and Steel or stainless Steel Parts: electrophoretic (KTL) Coating (matte Black); electrophoretic + Powder Coating (all standard RAL colors); Powder coating (all standard RAL colors) 

Aluminium Alloy: hard anodizing, matte black, on request. 

Individual Type Plate(s):

Engraving on anodized black aluminium alloy type plate - included.

1. Basic Fee (will be refunded with the cart price after order):

€ 699,- concept design and CAD design incl. renderings, fixed price estimate, incl. 3x online meetings for design reviews.

2. Cart Price (incl. Basic Fee):

€ 1.999,- (min, depending on your individual requirements and features) Cart with standard SCHLEPP Components, carts up to 720x460mm, weight 12-20 KG

€ 2.499,- (min, depending on your individual requirements and features) Cart with individualized Components, carts up to 720x460mm, weight 12-20 KG

€ 3.299,- (min, depending on your individual requirements and features) Cart with individualized Components, cart size up to 800x500mm, weight 16-25 KG

• min 3 Units = 15% Discount
• min 10 Units = 20% Discount
• min 20 Units = 30% Discount

Lead time (up to 5 units) ca. 4 months, lead time 5+ units ca. 5-6 months, depending on customization and quantity.
