MINI LAPTOP POLE KIT FOR SCHLEPP Camera Carts

Compatible with SCHLEPP ONE / SCHLEPP ONE-S, and ADVANCE Camera Cart. 

SCHLEPP ONE / ONE-S: The Middle Shelf is required to mount this lightweight 500mm Laptop Pole to the SHORT side of your Camera Cart. 

SCHLEPP ADVANCE: The Middle Shelf and the additional Short Side Bracket (mounted to the Middle Shelf) are required to attach this add-on to the SHORT side of your ADVANCE Camera Cart.

How it works:

This sturdy pole has a male and a female 3/8" steel thread. It can be attached to the short side of your ONE, ONE-S, or ADVANCE Camera Cart. (ADVANCE: please order the ADVANCE Mini Pole Kit with the additional short side bracket).

This Mini Pole can be mounted or removed in a minute or less. It is attached with 2x M10 Wingnuts: to the Top Shelf and to the Middle Shelf (To the center Crossbar mount on ONE / ONE-S, to the additional bracket on ADVANCE). Due to it's 50cm (19.68") length and compact size, it can be stored inside your cart during transport.

The primary use case is attaching lightweight laptop plates such as the ZETA D.I. next to your Top Shelf and to gain some extra working area on your Top Shelf.

This requires a regular ballhead or ARCA Clamp (not included). This way, you can attach ZETA D.I., other laptop plates, and many ARCA compatible add-ons to the short side of your Camera Cart. Or you can attach a 16mm (5/8") screw-on pin or receptor (with 3/8" thread) for using add-ons with 16mm (5/8") pin compatibility.

For permanent (dynamic) use on your cart, we recommend to lock the head, clamp, or srew-on pin additionally with LOCTITE or simlar, to make this connection vibration resistant.

We recommend a maximum laptop height of 5-8 cm (2-3") above the top edges of the side walls of your Top Shelf. The couplers (for cart attachment) can remain mounted to your pole. 

The recommended max. load is  5-8 KG (11-17.6 lbs). For loads above 3 KG (6.6 lbs) on SCHLEPP ONE / ONE-S, we recommend to add counterweight to the base of your cart - as all loads above the top shelf can make your ultra-lightweight cart side-heavy. Do your own testing before using this setup in productions.

SCHLEPP ADVANCE: the ADVANCE Mini Pole Kit includes a black stainless steel bracket, which is bolted permanently to the short side of your Middle Shelf - a very sturdy spacer. It stays bolted to your ADVANCE Middle Shelf at all times (in transport mode, too.)
