Please note: this SSD holder can only be attached, when using ZETA D.I. on a tripod or Arca-ballhead.

Pi SSD Holder for ZETA D.I. - 3D File (printable, free)

Shaped like the Greek Pi, this SSD holder / mounting plate is designed for radical functionality. Pi SSD snaps into the rear mounts of SCHLEPP ZETA D.I. Digital Imaging Platform in a second. 

It holds all regular SSDs - up to ca. 400 gr / 0.9 lbs and up to 75-80mm width/height (short side of your SSD) horizontally. Pi SSD (incl. SSD) is securely held by the tension of the shock cords. Due to its small footprint, it can stay attached to your SSD at all times.

2. Fasteners required: 

• 2x ca. 25cm (10") Shock Cord, Tactical Cord, or Silicon Cord. 2-3mm diameter. Should be heat resistant up to 70-80°C. 

Print flat.

We recommend using temperature-resistant filaments for printing, as SSDs do heat up during operation: PETG, ABS, PA.

⚠  Please check, if your setup is stable in operation before going into productions.

3. Post-Printing Assembly:

• Feed one shock cord through the foot and the upper hole on each side.

• Tie a knot under tension.

• Adjust tension based on the elasticity of your shock cord.

• Ensure the SSD sits firmly and securely on the mount.

Attach the printed Pi SSD Holder to the inverted L-mounts (left or right) of your SCHLEPP ZETA D.I. and make sure it sits tightly. 

4. Pro Tip:

• You can alternatively use small cord locks (prym or other)

• Tight knots are highly effective, knots save more weight and space than cord locks.
