We managed to have a low number of kits made (3 wheels each) - this unique, lightweight and smooth rolling configuration is not available anywhere.

A tripod dolly is not included. This is an upgrade kit designed to retrofit YOUR tripod dolly - inspired by our SCHLEPP Community Member Alex W.

USE CASE

The Set of (3x) 125 x 30 (5 x 1.18") Swivel Casters is for users who want to upgrade their lightweight tripod dollies (e.g. Neewer, SmallRig, Sirui, Tether Tools - and similar).

These are the original wheels used on our SCHLEPP ONE and SCHLEPP ONE-S Camera Carts. They are a massive upgrade to your lightweight tripod dolly on various grounds and in various situations. 

Please ensure that your specific tripod dolly is compatible with M10 screws before ordering (Neewer, SmallRig, Sirui, Tether Tools, and similar).
To verify, simply unscrew your current wheels and measure the screw diameter and length, or test your existing caster screws with an M10 nut.

Careful: Some tripod dollies have a loose locknut inside the tube system, which can only be loosened and tightened again using a special tool. We advise against removing the wheels in this case.

PERFORMANCE

Of course, you can also use other swivel casters to upgrade your tripod dolly - but this model offers outstanding performance:

• extremely lightweight (less than 500 grams per wheel) 
• smooth rolling performance and damping (something every SCHLEPP ONE or SCHLEPP ONE-S user can confirm)
• wheels are practically silent
• wheels were selected from over 15 different models and variants and extensively tested during the development of our SCHLEPP Camera Carts on various grounds

The super-lightweight black caster housings with full stop brakes are injection molded from impact-resistant Nylon.

Each swivel caster is rated for 75 kg (165 lbs) load, which far exceeds the maximum load capacity of your tripod dolly.

The grey 5“ wheels are made from well-damped Polyurethane - similar to pneumatic wheels of the same size. They are puncture-proof and resistant to most chemicals.

The swivel casters have 11mm top holes instead of mounting plates (as used on our carts) and can be attached directly to your tripod dolly.

Each swivel caster can be mounted with a single M10 screw (Allen key for assembly is included). 3/8" Screws work, too, but we can't confirm 100% due to the lack of a tripod dolly with 3/8" threads for testing purposes.

This wheel and housing combination is custom-made.

We tested the setup with a Neewer Heavy Duty Tripod Dolly, and with the Smallrig 3986, both popular models featuring integrated M10 threads. The wheels are replaced in 5 minutes using a 6 mm Allen key (M10 Countersunk screws).
