2x Half Couplers (SET) for 32-35mm or 28-32mm Poles

Set of 2x Half Couplers for 32-35mm Poles or for 28-32mm Poles

This set is for attaching 32-35mm or 28-32mm (Diameter) Poles or C-Stand Columns to the short side of your SCHLEPP ONE or SCHLEPP ONE-S Camera Cart.

If you want to attach poles to the long side of SCHLEPP ADVANCE Camera Cart, please have a look at our C-Stand mounting Kit for SCHLEPP ADVANCE.

Make sure to select the right diameter: 32-35mm for C-Stand Columns, 28-32mm for smaller diameters.

These Half Couplers can be attached to the Top Shelf and to the Middle Shelf (Crossbar on Short Side) with the included M10 wingnuts. When using a long pole, tube or C-Stand Column, you can also attach the lower end to the Base of your SCHLEPP ONE or ONE-S Camera Cart.

It can be used for lightweight monitors or displays (up to 3-4 KG) - or lighter Add-Ons of up to 3-4 KG. E.g. strobes, flashlights, or light permanent lights with lightweight light shapers.

Always make sure to add proper counterweight to the base of your cart, when attaching mass above the regular cart height for well-balanced and safe operation, keep in mind that SCHLEPP ONE and ONE-S are the lightest camera carts in the world - but they can't beat physics.

We recommend counterweight of factor 1.5x - 2x, example:

you add a short C-Stand column (e.g. Avenger 2014, ca. 2.5 KG) and 3KG Strobe + 1 KG light shaper. Total added weight to one side of your SCHLEPP ONE Camera Cart: 6.5 KG. There should be at least 10-13 KG counterweight on the base (factor 1.5-2x), close to the ground, to make this work securely. Do some testing with your setup before going into productions.

For attaching compact strobes, flashlights, or lightweight permanent lights to your SCHLEPP ONE or ONE-S Camera Cart, this coupler solution is amazing.

Important note on Monitor use

⚠️ We do NOT recommend to attach heavy duty monitors (above 3-4 KG) with these couplers to your SCHLEPP ONE or ONE-S Camera Cart. These may harm the walls of your shelves, as they act as levers in great height, their mass will be working against the aluminium alloy walls of your cart - especially in dynamic applications (moving the cart).

Due to gravity and laws of physics, quick movements with the cart may cause forces of factor 3-5x with a heavy monitor up in the air - let's say a 7 KG display in 1.6 m height on a stick (pole).

The center of gravity and the mass of the display 1.3-1.4 m above the cart's center of gravity are a worst case scenario, as this is a powerful lever - like a vehicle jack - with the monitor's weight permanently trying to escape its mounting points.

When accelerating or abruptly stopping the cart, up to 35 KG of force (7 KG display x5) push against the side wall of your aluminium alloy shelf. When you do this in permanent use, it's like a 35 KG teenager dancing on the wall of your cart each time you move your cart.

If you absolutely need to attach a larger display (e.g. 24") to ONE or ONE-S - use 2x2 Super Clamps instead and mount it to one of the tubes of your ONE / ONE-S Camera Cart.

We still do not recommend the use of 24" or larger displays on SCHLEPP ONE, as this cart was made for smaller gear.

Use small, lightweight displays instead and have a look at our third party accessory inspiration here. There is a decent, lightweight and budget-friendly 1.200 nits display available on the market.

A better choice for large displays is our SCHLEPP ADVANCE Camera Cart. It was devoloped for large display compatibility, the aluminium walls are thicker and it has a dedicated display mounting concept.
